Wood Farm Church |
|||
The Wood Farm Church is a well established church which has been ministering on and from the estate for the last 20 years. The main Sunday service is at 10:30am every Sunday, and is held in the main hall of the Wood Farm First School, Titup Hall Drive. On the 1st Sunday of each month the service takes the form of an "All Age Family Service", with the remaining services in the month having an emphasis on friendship, worship and the preaching of the Word of God. Sunday school classes for the children and a crèche for the very young are also provided at the services, and Holy Communion is ministered on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for those who wish to receive it. |

We also have a range of midweek activities, which cater for both church and community. This includes a children's and youth club evening, along with house group evenings for adults with special men's and women's meetings along with social activities.

In our Sunday services we offer a very warm and friendly welcome to all, with lively worship, personal prayers and relevant preaching. This would include the life changing good news of the love of God through Jesus Christ, and the teaching of the power of God through the ministry of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 2:4-11). We also encourage an expectancy of faith that God would bless our lives with spiritual renewal and physical healing.

One of the main aims of the church is "Getting the Church back into the Community" and one of the ways we seek to do this is to reach out to the people living in or near Wood Farm, and to the people of Oxford's International community, in a caring and practical way. |

The church is affiliated to the A.O.G. association of
churches in the U.K. and its ordained minister is Pastor David Bartrip, who
along with his wife Ruth and family, live in Bracegirdle Road. Also for
more details of the church, including services, activities, purpose statement,
aims, core values, statement of faith etc., or for anyone requiring a visit
concerning any matter please don't hesitate to ring Pastor and Ruth on 768288 or
